Recently acquired from a large private collection of museum quality antique clothing

Unusual style, one I've never seen

The black fabric is a thin silk, with inserts go black net lace embroidered with ivory dots, accented with green velvet on the sleeves capped with original buttons. There is much mixed lace throughout the garment with heavy focus on the chest

Condirion is good considering the age, although it does have wear, such as the silk lining of the collar being shattered, some breaks to the thicker lace decoration, some small rips to the black net lace, I have tried to show photos of these flawed areas

It is also a hard piece to measure, as its actually quite confusing when open and not on a mannequin, with the hooks and eyes and collar, it takes a bit to get it all into place

Its not overly small, but also not large. Its your typical victorian piece
